Dr Sielewicz is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and CERN Doctoral Student Programme alumni. He is an electronics engineer with a rich academic background and experience in fast-paced research settings such as scientific laboratories, high-frequency trading, and deep-tech startups; an expert in reprogrammable integrated circuits and high-speed electronics, which was the focus of his PhD research. Marcin Patecki, PhD
Lead Physics & Data Scientist

Dr Patecki is a physicist and data scientist with extensive experience in nuclear and accelerator physics, space radiation environments, and advanced data analytics. He has worked at leading international research institutions including CERN and the Virgo gravitational wave experiment, and has held prestigious research fellowships such as the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship. OUR PROJECTS

R&D and characterisation of radiation detectors

SigmaLabs’ team specializes in the research and development of radiation detectors, radiation-resilient systems, radiation testing and modeling, and predictive maintenance systems. The team members possess extensive experience in mixed-signal, high-speed, and digital electronics design, encompassing all aspects of device development, from architecture design and component selection to schematic entry, PCB layout, analogue circuit simulations, signal and power integrity simulations, preparation of manufacturing documentation, embedded software, and FPGA design, simulation and verification, device characterization, and commissioning. Additionally, they have expertise in conducting radiation tests and developing electronic systems for operation in radiation environments, such as space and high-energy physics experiments. The team also has a proven track record of collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), contributing to both legacy and new space projects through activities related to payload design, commissioning, and integration. Furthermore, the company actively cooperates with a network of over 10 engineers specializing in capabilities including radiation-tolerant electronics design, radiation detector research and development, radiation modelling, and radiation testing and characterization, further enhancing the company’s expertise and project delivery capacity.
